What We Believe
Basic Statement of Faith
We believe the entire Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be inspired of God... God-breathed, without error in the original writings, and that it is our supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in the Holy Trinity (Triune God). There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit has been sent by the Father and is the fulfillment of Christ's promise. He regenerates, seals, guides the believer, and empowers us to live a life free from the bondage of sin and death. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God's people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
We believe that all are sinners and fall short of God’s glory and must rely on His grace for salvation.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal and only begotten Son of God who, through His perfect life and sacrificial death, atoned for the sins of all who believe in Him.
We believe that those who are Christ's enter into Heaven and its eternal joys upon death.
We believe that those who do not believe in Christ will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which is the second death.
We believe that all aspects of a Christian’s life are to be lived to the glory of God, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Baptism and the Lord's Supper are the two sacraments/ordinances that the Church is required to administer.
We believe that the offices of Elder and Deacon are the two offices that have continued in the Church, while other offices such as Apostle and Prophet have ceased.
